Campground Rules & Regulations
TENT CAMPING CHECK IN/RULES In the interest of ensuring that all our visitors enjoy their time at the Armadilloasis Ranch, we have a few rules we will ask you to observe. In the event of a dispute and failure to resolve, staff and our security personnel will invite violators to remove themselves from the property.
NO FIREARMS OR CONCEALED WEAPONS. (this is a private property)
NO GENERATORS.
NO DRUGS.
NO ONE UNDER 18 CAN BE ADMITTED WITHOUT PARENT OR GUARDIAN.
NO TOLERANCE for sexual misconduct or harassment.
Violations of any of the above rules will result in immediate expulsion from the Grounds of Armadilloasis.
STEREOS OR MUSIC are allowed to be played in the campgrounds and at a reasonable volume.
CAMPGROUND ACCESS: Everyone must have a wristband to enter the campgrounds during the eclipse. Wristbands must always be worn on the wrist. Broken wristbands may be exchanged at the ticket booth for $5 fee. The entire broken band must be surrendered to get a replacement.
VEHICLE RULES: No vehicles will be permitted in the campground outside of designated parking areas. Only 1 vehicle will be allowed per purchased campsite.
ILLEGALLY PARKED VEHICLES: Unauthorized or non-permitted vehicles in the campgrounds will be towed at the owner’s expense. Any vehicles blocking roads may be towed without notice.
GENERAL RULES:
AGE – No one under 18 years of age may camp without a parent, our legal guardian present.
TRASH AND GEAR – Campers are responsible for the trash in their area. Please make sure that all garbage is properly disposed of in the provided, lined trash barrels. THIS IS A LEAVE NO TRACE EVENT, IF YOU BROUGHT IT IN, TAKE IT WITH YOU WHEN YOU LEAVE!
PETS – No Pets will be allowed.
SMOKING – Smoking is not allowed within 20 feet of any porch or covered structure. PLEASE DO NOT THROW CIGARETTE BUTTS ON THE GROUND!
ALCOHOL – Alcohol consumption by adults of legal age is allowed (during legal drinking hours), although loud, disruptive, or violent behavior resulting from intoxication will not be tolerated. It is the responsibility of the camper / tenant to enforce underage drinking laws among all members of their group.
LOUD, BOISTEROUS, OR INAPPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR – We want everyone to have a good time, but please be considerate of others. The odd “howl at the moon” is permitted, but there is no need for incessant screaming. No stereos or recorded music are allowed in the campgrounds at any time during the festival. No Public Nudity. Public display and/or use of illegal substances are strictly prohibited. Amplified instruments are not permitted.
PERSONAL CONDUCT – We are a community. Every person is entitled to respectful and equitable treatment by others. We should all act responsibly toward one another. Mental, verbal, physical or sexual abuse (or unwanted sexual advances) by guests or staff WILL NOT BE TOLERATED and may result in your removal from the property. Always respect each other and each other’s property. Fighting and other forms of violence are not allowed. Know where your kids, and any other kids in your group, are always playing!
RESPECTING Armadilloasis Ranch – Maintaining the natural beauty of the ranch is important to us. Altering, defacing, or damaging the property is prohibited. Cutting of trees or shrubs is not allowed. DO NOT DRIVE NAILS OR SCREWS INTO LIVE TREES! DO NOT TIE OR LEAN ANYTHING ON TO LIVE TREES! Digging, grading, building, or the planting of anything without prior consent of the campground management is prohibited. Do not tie or lean anything on fences, trees or buildings. Do not climb over any fences onto adjacent property. Do not break or modify the erosion control terraces or berms.
PEST CONTROL – The use of poisons or insecticides by campers / tenants is prohibited.
FIRST AID – We will have volunteer Medical Professionals and Red Cross Certified CPR / First Aid Volunteers 24 hrs a day. If you need emergency attention, please notify one of our volunteers.
UNAUTHORIZED SOLICITORS – The selling of food, beverages, merchandise, or services is prohibited in both the theater and the campgrounds, except for registered vendors.
LOST AND FOUND – located in Armadilloasis Store.
DRONE FLIGHTS – No drones are permitted.
FOOD & BEVERAGES - A variety of food and beverages are available from our store will be available. You are permitted to bring food into the campgrounds. No open flame is allowed so plan accordingly.
Ice will be available for purchase at the Armadilloasis Store.
TOILETS / SHOWERS / WATER / ELECTRICITY – Portable Toilets are available on site, however, there will be no shower facilities or electricity available. Water will be for sale at the Armadilloasis Store.
NO FIRES – No Fires will be permitted on site.
SETUP - Parking and campground are located about ¼ mile apart. You will not be permitted to drive to your site to unload your equipment so plan accordingly (collapsible wagons are your friend). No more than 4 people per site. Parties larger than 4 will need to pay for additional sites.
SECURING YOUR CAMP – Make sure your tents, canopies, etc. are tied down and secured against the wind and elements.
TENT CAMPING - The campground is somewhat primitive but is pleasurable if you are prepared. Simply set up anywhere in the campground you find an inviting space and feel comfortable. Respect each other and you will be in for the time of your life! This is Hill Country terrain so dress comfortably. Shorts, t-shirts, a hat, and outdoor shoes usually do the trick.
